Our gala is Nov. 3! Get your tickets

Our 2022 gala

Donate, and/or join us for a buffet and hors d'oeuvres by West African Chef Dozzy Ibekwe — and a celebration of how much STOP has accomplished in our 19 years! We’ll have live music, a DJ, dancing, and a cash bar.

We'll feature remarks by Chicago Teachers Union president Stacy Davis Gates — one of the most significant people behind the election of Mayor Brandon Johnson.

Friday, November 3, 7-11pm
Chicago Theological Seminary
1407 E 60th (wheelchair-accessible)

Just since last year’s gala, we’ve won referendums on re-opening clinics and getting more affordable housing on 63rd Street, and we’ve held powerful restorative-justice events at Hyde Park Academy.

If you buy a ticket as a donation — a “solidarity ticket” — you can always contact us to convert it into a ticket to attend (provided the gala hasn’t filled up).

Or get a full table, or a sponsorship, here! Finally, note, we’ll have free parking and a vegetarian option (don’t worry, this year we’ll have PLENTY of food :)
