Come activate a Woodlawn lot for the CBA this Saturday!

Obama Center construction is beginning. And Woodlawn won a Community Benefits Agreement ordinance one year ago. It’s time to shed light on what’s happening!

The CBA ordinance forces the Mayor to set aide 52 City-owned vacant lots for affordable housing. But Mayor Lightfoot still hasn't selected which lots to set aside. We demand that lot-selection enable development of as much affordable housing as possible. Woodlawn needs all of the City’s vacant land on 63rd that is east of Cottage Grove.

So let’s all stake our claim on one of those lots. Come by for a rally, press conference, and canvass on September 18, 2-6pm, at 63rd and University.

It's time to join forces and spread knowledge. Learn more about housing protections won, and share your vision for 63rd Street!
