$2 billion Chicago Rescue Plan: town hall on 9/28 6pm

Chicago Resuce Plan 2021 7.jpg

As we discussed at last month’s town hall: How should Chicago’s almost $2 billion in COVID relief from the Biden administration be spent?

The Chicago Rescue Plan is an ordinance that would direct these dollars not to debt or police, but to communities hit hardest by decades of disinvestment and now the pandemic.

Learn more about the plan and play a “People’s Budget” game. We’ll learn with Dixon Romeo, United Working Families campaign director. Zoom on Tuesday, September 28 at 6pm.
